Swimming Isonzo is widely acknowledged as one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe, and offers nice refreshment in the hot summer days since long ago. But it is not just beautiful; it is also covered with traps. The riverbank is arranged for swimming not far from the tavern, under the hydroelectric power station Solkan and a bit further down the stream, at the old dam. But be careful!
