Kayak

Because of her vivacious torrents, Isonzo is a true Mecca for kayak. One of the best places is right under the hydroelectric power station, not far from Žogica, where the members of kayak club Soške elektrarne often practice. Near the old dam, a new kayak course is arranged. Otherwise, the tradition of kayak in Goriška goes back more than 50 years. Local kayak competitors can boast of long array of medals from largest world competitions.
